    1. February 2025: Attended the J.P. Morgan Taiwan CEO-CFO Conference to engage with global institutional investors and discuss the latest trends, market advantages and potential of the Taiwan capital market.
    2. May 2025: Co-hosted the "Asia Tech Forum" with Nomura Securities, offering shared insight on trading, financial products, ESG and IR Engagement through multiple channels.
    3. June 2025: Participated in the Citigroup Forum, discussing areas related to the policies on the advance collection of securities and funds, as well as securities lending regulations.

Hong Kong

  1. March 2025: Participated in the HSBC "Global Investment Summit" in Hong Kong, sharing foreign-friendly policies and ETFs with institutional investors.

Taiwan Index Plus Corporation(TIP)

Providing international financial institutions with Taiwan stock indices as investment benchmarks to attract capital investment into Taiwan.
Case Study: In October 2024, Taiwan Index Company completed the licensing of the ""Taiwan 50 Cap 30% Index"" to an overseas asset management company for the issuance of an ETF listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEx).

    1. June 2025: Co-hosted the “Taiwan-Thailand Capital Market and ETF Development Seminar” in Bangkok with the Investment Trust and Consulting Association (Taiwan), presenting highlights of the Taiwan capital market and an ETF overview. Met with securities-related institutions to share views on regulatory frameworks and potential cross-border cooperation.

Encouraging institutions to utilize Taiwan stock indices or link to Taiwan stock ETFs for the issuance of financial products in international markets, thus expanding the asset base of ETFs in Taiwan.
Assist domestic securities firms or investment trust companies in leveraging their group resources to issue Depository Receipts (DRs) or funds linked to Taiwan stock ETFs in the Thai market. This includes Yuanta DR (TAIWAN19), KGI DR (TAIWANHD13), KGI DR (TAIWANAI13), and Cathay Fund (LHTWGHD), among others.

    1. May 2025: Attended the Capital Market Summit 2025 in Dubai, engaged in dialogue on cross-border connectivity and product collaboration. Signed an MOU with the Dubai Stock Exchange and visited the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange to explore the prospects of cross-border product possibilities.
    2. May 2025: Participated in the IOSCO Annual Meeting in Qatar to address matters covering AI, sustainability disclosure and crypto assets. Further discussion occurred with the membership regarding sovereign wealth funds and showcasing the Taiwan capital market advantages.

    1. May 2025: Participated in the KRX Value-up Program Seminar in South Korea, sharing strategies for enhancing market capitalization in Taiwan capital market.
  2. Engage with foreign companies to enhance their business presence in Taiwan by expanding their business or establishing regional offices.

    1. April 2025: Went to Japan to visit asset management companies, REITs, and securities firms to promote EFT and REIT product collaboration.

Taiwan Index Plus Corporation(TIP)

Encouraging institutions to utilize Taiwan stock indices or link to Taiwan stock ETFs for the issuance of financial products in international markets, thus expanding the asset base of ETFs in Taiwan.
Through collaboration with Japanese asset management companies, facilitate the promotion of Taiwan stock ETFs linked to TIP indices to the Japanese market via cross-border ETF initiatives. This includes the NEXT FUNDS TIP FactSet Taiwan Innovative Technology 50 Index ETF (JPX code 412A) issued by Nomura Asset Management (link to 00935) and the iFreeETF Cathay Taiwan Tech Leader Index (JPX code 413A) issued by Daiwa Asset Management (link to 00881).

North America

Taiwan Index Plus Corporation(TIP)

Partnering with international index firms to create indices, thereby diversifying product issuance options.

  1. In October 2024, Taiwan Index Company collaborated with S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P) to develop the "S&P TIP Taiwan Net Zero Transition ESG 50 Index", providing investors with a convenient tool for participating in the net zero transition investment trend of Taiwan stocks.
  2. In February 2025, Taiwan Index Company partnered with Bloomberg Index Services Limited (BISL) to co-launch the first stock-bond balanced index, the "Taiwan Index Company Bloomberg Taiwan-U.S. Momentum Multi-Asset Balanced Index" (Taiwan-U.S. Momentum Multi-Asset Balanced Index), offering new options for index-based investment applications.
  3. Taiwan Index Company and ICE Data Indices, the index company under Intercontinental Exchange Group (ICE), announced two major collaborative goals: co-developing multi-asset indices and co-branded indices. They jointly released the first co-developed index, the "Taiwan Index Company ICE Dual-Core Bond-Equity Balanced Index" (Dual-Core Bond-Equity Balanced Index), bringing more diversified index investment applications to the Taiwan market.
