Establish a Dedicated Asian Asset Management Center Unit

  • Decision-Making Level: Executive Yuan to lead cross-ministerial coordination
  • Execution Level: Financial Supervisory Commission to create a policy task force responsible for regulatory adjustments and policy implementation
  • Service Level: Taiwan Stock Exchange to set up an Asian Asset Management Center office to coordinate related organizations, assign dedicated staff, and provide practical business support

Expanding the Scope of Cross-Border Financial Services

  • Extend Taiwan’s financial services into international markets to enhance the global visibility and attractiveness of Taiwan’s asset management industry, strengthening capital retention and attraction.
  • Pilot cross-border financial services by domestic banks and securities firms within the special zones, with plans to expand these services nationwide in the future.

Creating a comprehensive offshore asset management platform (OAMU) to deliver end-to-end services for overseas clients.

  • Integrate OBU, OSU, and OIU within the special zone to pilot joint account opening, collaborative promotion, and co-marketing efforts.
  • OSU offers convenient account opening and transaction services to attract overseas funds from Taiwanese businesses.
  • Introduce new OIU products and extend tax incentives to enhance OIU’s competitiveness.

Phase 1: Collaborative Promotion of the TISA System
