The Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) is actively promoting the internationalization of financial services. Among these efforts, Offshore Banking Units (OBUs) and Offshore Insurance Units (OIUs) play key roles. By expanding their business scope, OBUs will be able to more comprehensively assist enterprises in managing overseas assets. At the same time, OIUs will develop towards extending tax incentives and allowing the sale of more diverse insurance policies, collectively providing more competitive wealth management services for high-net-worth clients both domestically and internationally.
